Dear Family, All Praises Be To God !
It is a pleasure to greet you as the 2008 Family Reunion Chair. We are so excited about the Jemison Reunion being held here in the Queen City of Cincinnati, Ohio. The DATES ARE Thursday JULY 17, - Sunday JULY 20, 2008. Make it a mini family vacation. The committee and I are working hard to make this reunion extra special for everyone to enjoy. We enjoyed ourselves last year in Louisville, Kentucky. The Wheelers' did a great job. We want to encourage others, you have not seen in a while to participate this year. Our Family Legacy has a wonderful and interesting history, which I'm very proud to be a part of. Many people can't believe the number of sibilings born to Dennis and Ella Jemison, not to mention how the larger branches of Hannah Wheeler and Sol Jemison just keep multiplying. This says, the tree still lives on continuing to thrive. My grandmother (Emma) only had two children, so that puts us at the small branch; (smile) Neverthless, I'm proud to talk about all of you, because you are my family and we're growing, closer and stronger everyday.
Please register early as possible by sending your reunion fees. You may even want to pay half now and the remaining balance later. It will help the committee out tremendously. We are also offering some great incentives to the first 50 registrations recieved by April 1, 2008. They will be placed in a drawing for the following give a-ways: One night free stay at the hotel, four passes to the hotel water park, restaurant certificates, four Family Reunion commemortive t-shirts, and four $5.00 returns from your registration fee. The drawing will take place in mid May of 2008, you will be notified. Please send those EARLY REGISTRATIONS IN.

Make sure you also make your hotel reservation early, the hotel just open a huge indoor water park and they are promoting it to clubs, organizations, city events, and people everywhere. We have only reserved fifty rooms for our family reunion, more can be added if we need them, but only if we request them early enough. If you want certain accommodations, be sure to be specific. King or double, handicap, Smoking or non- smoking, rooms with a balcony that over look the outdoor pool. Family suites at a more reasonable price are availble at the Hamilton Hotel next door to the Sheraton(very limited). Please be sure to check out the other pages and enter information on our website as requested. I need more pictures and more information through-out the web site. Please bare with me, this has been quit time consuming and a lot of work. I value your suggestions, after all this is my first time doing a web site. I also challenge you to brush up on your Family History and take the quiz.
